FOR THE FIRST TIME, THE NATIONAL CHILDREN’S MEDICAL CENTER PERFORMED A SURGICAL OPERATION THAT HAD NOT PREVIOUSLY BEEN PERFORMED IN CENTRAL ASIA

A number of urological surgeries were performed at the Uro-Nephrology Center of the National Children’s Medical Center. One of the patients was 5-year-old S. from Surkhandarya, who had a congenital anomaly of the urinary bladder, which was surgically eliminated together with Russian doctors at the National Children’s Medical Center.

The National Children’s Medical Center also has departments of surgery, cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics and plastic surgery, general surgery, oncology, ophthalmology, ENT, pediatrics, hemodialysis and resuscitation. The center is equipped with magnetic resonance imaging, multi-spiral computed tomography, a modern laboratory and modern diagnostic equipment that detected oncological diseases several years ago.
